A Rosary service will be held 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, ID. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Immaculate Conception Church of the Society of St. Pius X (619 East Fifth Ave. Post Falls, ID 83854). Ellen will be laid to rest at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens following the service.

Ellen and Joan and I went through an interesting period together. I also personally fondly remember her parents. As a state employee during college I worked alongside her Dad and in later years evolved into his personal physician. We're talking over fifty years ago!

Dear Joe,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your parents and mine playing bridge and I know they were great friends. As you probably know my mother died 38 years ago and my father is still plugging away. He works everyday at his office in Clyde. You're in my prayers.
