Esther has been my very best friend since we first met in 1980.  Don't know what it was but from the time we met we knew we loved each other. We could talk on the phone and feel like we were really visiting each other. We had many good laughs and a few tears while visting on the phone.  I will miss her so very much.

I want to express my regrets that I will be out of town tomorrow and will not be able to attend Esther's services. Esther was such a special person and a huge part of my life and the lives of my children.  She will be missed by so many for her good deeds and kindliness.  Esther was also such a huge part of Mom's life and a dear friend.  I contacted Charlene as soon as I heard of Esther's passing and she wanted me to express her sorrow in learning of her death.  She will probably be in touch with you all.  Love to all, Jackie

 WE MOVED WEST FROM NORTH CAROLINA IN 1949 WHEN I WAS 3 YEARS OLD.  MY PARENTS RENTED A HOUSE FROM DON AND ESTHER FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.  I HAVE KNOWN HER ON A MUCH CLOSER LEVEL FOR 40 YEARS.  SHE ALWAYS HAD A HUG AND A SMILE WHEN YOU SAW HER AND WAS ALWAYS VERY KIND TO ME.  I WILL MISS HER BUT I HAVE FOND MEMORIES.

I just read of Esthers passing. My condolences to your family.  I have very fond memories of the two of you and always appreciated your going to see Mom at Good Sams.  They were in the EGA womens club together with so many of the ladies of that time.
