Jamie was like a brother to me.

As I look back over our time together it seems like he was involved in so much of mine & Kaelee's life; birthday parties, camping trips, floating trips, holiday parties, bowling, poker playing, Seahawk watching.

He was so full of life & love and always made everyone feel important and a part of something. 

I am going to miss being called a "hoodrat" so much!

Nev will be missed more than he could possibly ever know. I moved next door to Jamie 20 years ago. It wasn't too long after moving that I met Jamie and his family. They welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like a part of their family. Jamie was the quintessential nice guy who was always willing to help out whenever needed and never expected anything in return.

It'd be difficult to pick out the fondest memories I have of Nev. There are far too many to list. One of my favorites was a trip that Nev, Steve Mahaffey, and I took to the Grand Coulee Dam. That trip was the beginning of what would become an annual journey to Coulee every Memorial Day weekend for several years after that. Every year it grew larger where more and more of our friends would make the trip to Coulee with us. Those were some of the best times of our lives.

My heart aches and my condolences go out to Michelle and all the family. I'm very sorry for the loss of one of the best guys I've ever had the privilege to call a friend.

I think everyone liked Jamie.  He was friendly and kind, and he had a great sense of humor.  I worked with him a few years ago.  I remember that he always liked to show off his latest pictures of little Reagan.  It was obvious that he adored her, and that he had a very tender heart toward his family.  It is a blessing to have known Jamie, and to have had him as a friend.

Jamie and I met in Jr High shortly after I moved to Post Falls. We became great friends playing basketball, video games, and riding bikes all over town. We had a common bond of being class geeks that only drew us closer as friends. Then Chad Scalise moved in across the street and we became the three amigos. Always together. Then I moved away a year later to Montana. Over the years I lost contact with Jamie. What a great frienship we had. I am so thankfull I have great memories of our time together. He will be missed.

I pray that God grants you a peace and assurance that Jamie is in God's loving arms. I pray you all can find comfort in know that one day we will all be together in celebration in heaven. May God bless you and keep you, may his face shine upon you and be gracious to you, may he look upon you with favor and grant you his peace.

I have known the Neverdahl family for twenty years. I met all of them. On there short stay in Alaska Jenny is my best friend and I was lucky enough to come down here for her and her family. I was overwhelmed to see how many lifes Jamie touched I am so sorry to the family. Gayle was ALWAYS like a second mom to me. I have known Gayle for 23 years, since I was 14 years old.  We laughed together, cried together, and had many, many talks together.  She was always so supportive and loving.  Her love for her boys (Josh and Chad) and her grandchildren: North, Nicole, & Gage was phenominal!  She always wished the best for ALL of them, and always wished she could do more for them.  It saddens me to know that she will not be here to watch them grow up.  I'm grateful that she is no longer suffering in pain, but cannot tell you how much I will miss her.  I love you mom...may you rest in peace.  Love, Laurie

I just heard learned about Jamies's tradgic passing.  I am so sorry to hear about this young man's death.  (We were both employed at AID, but I am currently on layoff.)  He reminded me so much of my grandson, I am just heart sick for his family.  Your son & husband was such a pleasure to work with.  Please know that he will remain in the hearts of many of us who worked with him.
