Waltraut, I am so sorry for the loss of Bernie. Remember the good times because
it helps...I know first hand. I am smiling as I remember a few afterwork parties
with you and Bernie. Remember the ladies restroom incident? That was so funny.
Call me anytime you want to play pinochle or go for a walk. I will see you at
the services on Tuesday. Your friend, Linette.

I worked with Bernie for serveral years in the mid-1980s in Child Protective
Services at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare office in Kellogg.
It was difficult, challenging work and we needed each other's support to be
successful and to survive the daily stress. I will always be grateful for
his counsel during those days.
I had met Waltraut in 1975 at the Idaho Health and Welfare office in
Kellogg. We worked together for many years and through many interesting
family situations. I was very hopeful when she and Bernie got together and
eventually married. I extend my good thoughts to Waltraut and the entire
family. Jim

Waltraut,
I was so saddened to see Bernie passed away and have been thinking for days what
I would like to say to you and your family. There do not seem to be any
magic words. Bernie is at peace and you will begin to heal now too. You
are in my thoughts and prayers.
Tina
