Robert D. Radke

A celebration of Robert's life was held at 11.00 a.m. , Thursday, May 8, 2008 at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane Street , Post Falls . Burial took place at Evergreen Cemetery , Spokane St. ; Post Falls, ID.

Robert D. Radke 73, of Kennewick , WA , passed away May 2, 2008 at Kootenai Medical Center , Coeur d'Alene , ID.

Robert was born Sept. 17,1934 in Waukegan , IL . to Walter L. and Mary (Englar) Radke. Robert was 6 years old when the family moved to a rural area of Zion , IL . He attended Howe School and Zion Benton Township High School .

Robert moved to California and was employed by Monogram Aerospace Co. At the time of his retirement he was Vice President of Manufacturing. After Robert's retirement he moved to Poteau , OK , where he bred & raised quarter and thoroughbred race horses. Because of ill health Robert had to give up working, Ho sold his ranch and moved to Kennewick .

Robert is survived by his five sisters, Thelma Labenski, Salt Lake City, Utah; Jeanette (Gordon) DeHart, Post Falls, ID; Barbara; Gloria (Roger) Duschene, Michigan; Mildred Petitclair, Toms River, NJ. Surviving brother, James (Marlene) Radke, Spokane , WA , & Richard Radke.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Norman and Walter J. Radke.
