Tom was the definition of a true company man, loyal and dedicated to Jacklin Seed Co. to the end.  I learned so much from Tom professionaly and personally, he was a mentor and a father figure.  I told Tom just before he passed that my spritual father is God, my earthly father is my dad, Don, and my mentor father is certainly him.  I will miss him so much, his jokes, his fun smile, just everything about Ol'Tom as we referred to him.  We worked some many hours together, shared so many experiences and laughs, the stories go forever.  I am saddened by his passing......but i am also joyful that he has passed on to Heaven to be with our Savior and God.  Tom found faith a little over a year ago, and i can now be thankful in the knoweledge that he has been welcomed into the arms of our Lord and his kingdom.  :-)

Tom had a special zest for life and a great love for friends and family.  He was comfortable to be around and seemed to take care of all of us that attended our monthly get together at PF.  He would 'work the tables' welcoming everyone and always had a special way of telling a story.

Tom Pyle the Dude!  And everyone was Dude to him too regardless of your gender.  He could light a room up with his smile and his ready wit.  We will all miss him so much at our monthly class reunions and especially our summer annual one at the Post Falls Park where he would always emcee for us and have a joke and a memory to share about our school times together.  Our love goes out to Lucy and all of the family during this very tough time.  Tom had a life well lived and loved!

It was sad to hear Tom had lost his battle , he was always so kind, soft spoken , and fun . I remember picnics by the Jacklin Farm when he was Married to Lorrie , and the kids were so young. The teasing and fun we had with Tom and Bill Rooney , Marilyn and Lorrie , amd my mom and Dad. Tom could always get Mom to laugh. It was great fun watching this.
I was very thankful to see Tom when Mom passed away two years ago. I send all our love and prayers to the family and friends and know he is in a better place . Liz and Dave Stenhouse

Dear Tom; where do I begin? We met over 20-years ago and the moment I met you I knew you were special. I set and write to you knowing that you family greives form your loss as I do. But I also celabrate you life as I view you as a true American with values that often seem lost today. You understood what role farmers played and loved them and the land. I love you and your family and maybe one daughter alittle more then the rest. Rest my freind as I am sure you are tilling the soil and gauging the wind.

I would have never guessed that the day Tom came to me to see if I was interested in becoming an employee for his office that we would become best of friends. Tom was easy to be friends with, full of life, energy and loved a good joke and played a mean game of cards. Family was always a very important love of Tom's and he always gave his love/care/and concern freely no matter whose family it was. "The Three Musketeers" will always be remembered with great laughter. Tom gave his all to fighting the "C" that took him away just like he lived life as fully as he could. I know he will watch over Lucy and the family to protect them from harms way. That is the type of person he was.  My prayers, strength and love are with you Lucy and the family to endure this sad time because one day that ray of sunshine will come through and laughter will again enter your lives.  Best Friends Forever!

Lucy,
I was the nurse at the doctors office for 2 years. In that time I got to know you and Tom, and what a blessing it was. I will always remember Tom as a jolly, funny, caring man who was a bright spot in the lives of everyone he met. His laugh was infectious and he always knew how to make people smile. He will be missed. God bless you in this difficult hour and you are in my prayers, and I know Tom is smiling down on you from heaven.
God Bless
Marie P ~ nurse and friend
