We were sorry to hear of the passing of 'Dick' who was a fellow "Heavy
Construction Teamster" and "Old Drinking Buddy! We had a lot of
"Wild Times" chasing the "Ladies" around Northern Idaho! I
always tried to "Dispach" Dick on to "Good Jobs" when I ran
the Teamster Construction Division. He was a very well Qualified driver & we
worked many jobs together over the years. We always tried to work the jobs where
we operated the "Big Heavy Stuff" along with his dad "Art
Bitterman" who taught us both a lot about running the "Big
Rigs" safely. Well Dick, I will miss you, at least we got to draw a little
of that famious 'Teamster Retirement" that we worked so long and hard for
over the last 45 + years for!!! See you soon wherever that they "DISPACH"
us to in the "WILD BLUE YONDER"......Your "OLD FRIEND", Dave
Anderson.....

Sorry to learn about the death of Richard Bitterman. This must have been a
difficult time for all. Therefore, I am forwarding scripture that will
comfort you. Psalms 90:10 says that the usual human life span is 70 or 80
years. This was true when Moses wrote it but not so from the beginning.
(compare Genesis 5:3-32.) Hebrews 9:27 says...It is reserved for men to
die once for all time. This, too, was true when it was written but not the
case before God passed judgment on sinful Adam.
