I am one of Uncle Roy's nieces through marriage, he was always one of my favorite people.  His sister Mabel Schlenker is also my aunt.  I was so looking to see him in Kulm, ND at the SDA Churche's anniversary and am so sorry that he couldn't make it this time.  He will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss.  Your dad was a real treasure in our church and we liked him very much.  He always had a ready smile and handshake and never forgot our names.  We regret that we will not be able to attend his service due to prior out of town family commitments.  But we do look forward to seeing him again when our Lord returns.  May God's presence and peace be with you and your family.

Dear Henneberg families...We are so sorry to hear of Elder Henneberg's death....he was one of the most caring & friendly people we knew...always a smile, handshake & pat on the shoulder...you felt like you were the most important person to him at that moment...he will be deeply missed in Sabbath class & passing by the pew where we sit, with that smile & cheerfulness that is expressed by a true Christian...Jesus is coming soon!!! what a day of rejoicing that will be....we will meet Him in the air & forever be with Him....No more sorrow, no more tears..we are one day closer to that glad reunion....let us all be there..we are looking forward to that glorious, wonderful day...when our loved ones we will meet again...God Bless all of you in this time of sorrow...Love in Christ Jesus...Wanda & Jerry

When I think of Elder Henneberg, I will always remember his smile and kindness.  He always remembered my name, even though I didn't see him that often.  I regret that I didn't know him longer.

Sorry to learn about the death of Roy Henneberg.  This must have been a difficult time for all.  Therefore, I am forwarding scripture to comfort you.  Psalms 90:10 says that the usual human life span is 70 or 80 years.  This was true when Moses wrote it but not so from the beginning.  (compare Genesis 5:3-32.)  Hebrews 9:27 says...It is reserved for men to die once for all time.  This, too, was true when it was written but not the case before God passed judgment on sinful Adam.
