We had a wonderful visit in 1999 with uncle Dallas when I got married and my dad Bob Dameron couldn't come to my wedding in Pasadina CA So uncle Dallas was there to give me away for the wedding. I tell you he was a big hit with all the ladies at the wedding and they danced his hat off at the reception,
He told me at the time one of the best stories about my mother and how great she was! She was Delora Aslin -Dameron wife of Bob Dameron... She loved her cowboy forever!!
Please EMail me TX Sydne wasson AKA wanda Dameron
Love to Uncle Dallas..

To the family of Dallas Dameron, Ellen and I send our sincere sympathies. Uncle Dallas was larger than life and he exuded a spirit of caring for all of his family members across the United States. Dallas was with our Harkrader family in Virginia during the loss/furneral of our dear Mother, Rovie (Rocky) Maxine Dameron Harkrader, April 2004. A lineman, a cowboy, and a gentleman. It was a pleasure to know you... Happy Trails!

Randy, Dean and Steven
I'm very sorry about the loss of your dad. Last Thursday I missed the obituaries and the service yesterday. Dallas was for me the John Wayne of Idaho. He had a smile I will never forget and he always gave you a handshake that reflected trust and honesty. I will miss him very much. God bless him. Roland Mueller

We enjoyed the memorial service for him. We only knew him a short time, but in that time all of us enjoyed his wondering humor and very gentleman personality. He was a very caring person, and to only known him for such a short time  was are lost.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!  Susan & I were very upset at the news of our father's passing---we will truly miss him.  We were able to spread his ashes (as he wanted) on the old ranch on Greensferry.  The current residents were nice enough to share that the "back 40" is now a nature preserve!  I think all of us were very happy to hear that!  Thank you everyone who came to the memorial and those who had stories to share!  Although a sad occurance brought us all together, the humor and stories were a delight to our hearts.  We both felt a part of "family"--related and otherwise!  If possible, we would like to contact a couple of you all off list, to hear a couple more memories... if not, then peace and love be with you all. One thing I have learned through the passing of family and friends, all that matters is the love we shared and how people love you and remember you when you are gone.  Thank you so much!  Becki* Dameron and Susan Dameron Cote-Eagle.

I worked with Dallas on the line crew at Vera Water & Power throughout my highschool and college years. My wife, who I met at Vera and married some 32 years ago also new Dallas as well. Dallas was a lot of fun to work with even though he rode me pretty hard! He taught me a good work ethic and his sense of humor was great as well. I often think of him today and wish I could have been there to see him at Vera's 100th anniversary.

I just found out today when visiting Vera that he had passed away. I was very sorry to hear the news.
