Even though I havent seen my grandfather for many years I always had him in my
thoughts. I wish My daughter Elizabeth could have met him. He was a cool and
funny grandpa and I will tell her some of his funny stories someday and let her
know he was a good man.

Adelia and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. However, we were thrilled to
know that he had accepted the Lord as his Saviour, and that he is now with Him
and God the Father now.
Ernie always enjoyed the Men's Fellowship Breakfast during the months that we
were there at the church. He always came home with enthusiasm telling me
that Jim was there, or when he was not, he was concerned, and always prayed for
him.
We want you now to know that we are in prayer for you and the family -- I
especially know what you are going through, having my husband of 36 1/2 years
called Home to Jesus back in 1991! If there is ever anything we can do
please do not hesitate to give us a call.
May you know the comfort and assurance of the Holy Spirit with you at this time.

Dear Oliver Family,
We are very sorry to see the passing of Jim. We knew Jim from our Hauser
Lake days, and of course, knew Reed quite well.
We hope you are all doing well, and you will be in our prayers for comfort and
peace in your hearts.
Sincerely,
Gary & Betty Cook

I miss my big brother.
There are two VERY fond memories that stay warm in my heart.
One, when I was very young, Jimmy brought me the cutest doll that had several
outfits with it. I still have that doll and her clothes.
Another memory that every adult brother/sister should have is an opportunity to
spend time together away from the rest. I got to spend a week with Jim on
a truck. He was helping out Jewell, taking rebar loads for her to Hoover
dam. The spot he had to get into to drop the load, no one thought he could do.
He showed them how it was done :) Of course there were many other loads to pick
up and deliver, too. We ate at truck-stops, where only truckers could sit,
slept in the truck and Jim slept on the steering wheel (for 10 minutes at a
time), all the things he did daily, were special to me. The experience is
one I tell whenever the opportunity comes up. I am very proud of my big
brother Jim. The tough guy persona did not hide the loving, gentle, big
man he was.
So much more I could say, but most thoughts and memories are well known by all.
Jimmy gave much, asked little. Just hope he knew how much he was
appreciated and loved.

Family,
I'm glad that BJ and I could be there with you all in celebrating your fathers
life. Uncle Jim will always hold a special place in our hearts. The sharing of
memories of his life in yours and ours will never be forgotten.
You mean the world to our family and we love you all.
Jim
