Opal was a valued member of our Life Group at the Dalton Gardens Church of Christ.  Not only did we enjoy her company and input at the church but also the Bible Study Group.  She rarily missed any opportunity to get together with church family.  And she loved any social get togethers.  We will miss her, but truly believe she's in a better place.  God's promises are trust worthy and he promises to take His children home if we only remain faithful to the end.

Please accept my sincerest condolences.  I will always have the fondest of memories of Opal in her Beauty Shop here in Hayden, and on her horse in the Hayden Days Parages years ago.  She was a sweet, dear lady that gave of herself always.  She will be dearly missed.

We are relatively new members of the Dalton Gardens Church of Christ but we did come to know Opal a little.  She was a great little lady and we will miss her presence at church on Sunday mornings.

Grandma Opal was a strong, vibrant woman.  I hope I can dance well into my 80's like she did.

I know she really missed Grandpa Jay when he passed and I hope she is at peace now that they are reunited.

Her granddaughter,
Patti

The strong Christian influence and example she and  Granpa J. had were immeasurable. They were  simple  people  but they exemplified  some  of the  most  important  values  I  could  ever  hope to model: Honesty, integrity, faith, love, and  hope. I will always  remember summer visits at their home and  Christmases with them at ours. They helped me  to understand God's love and the  importance of church attendance. They showed me many things about life in the way the lived theirs. I will  miss Grandma Opal, her biscuits and gravy, the smell of her home, her unyielding faith in the Lord. I am sorry we  had  to live so far  away. I am happy she  is with the Lord and Grandpa.
