Since the day we met, it was a pleasure knowing you, Scott.  You had the most remarkable personality and were truely an inspiration.  You lightened up the room and I always looked forward to your smile and stories.  One could only be so hopeful to possess the amazing charm that you had.  You led life through your passion for living, and I will remember you fondly until we meet again.  Much love to you Scott, ... Kim (Loats)

To Duane And Justin: We would like to extend you are most sincere sympathies, at the loss of your dad. As you age in life you will experience these losses, both family and friends, as we have. We always keep the ones we lost close in our heart, they are a part of us, as he is a part of you. You can never lose that, it's with you always; sometimes when you look in the mirror, you'll see his face through yours, sometimes you'll hear his voice, it's probably just like yours. When you have children, you'll see his likeness; it's a beautiful thing. I will always remember your dad, at the Apt Complex, he was always clean, and neat, and we always seen him at the school functions, he tried very hard to be a good father. He always had something funny to say, to brighten the day. Parents always want their children to do better in life than they did, so remember that, strive hard to be a good dad someday, like your father was, and your father will be proud. You will see him again someday! So be good! We Care! Your friends, The Palmers

Scott will be missed by so many of us that knew him.  He was one of the kindest people I have even known and I thank God that in my memories, I can see him laughing and smiling.  This world was definitely a better place because of him and it is a great loss to all of us.  I know I will miss him very much.

Scott was my brother and I was very proud of him for a lot or reasons. Mostly because he tried to be a good father and didn't give up even though it was  very hard for him at times.  I was also very proud of him for the way he over came the disability that came with the loss of his arm. The things he could do and accomplished amazed me.  I have wonderful childhood memories that I will cherish forever.  I love you Scott and will miss you always.  Your sister, Nancy

Scott was a man like I'd never known before.  His courage and perserverance was remarkable. He taught me so much about life, responsibilities, and caring. I loved him, and will continue loving him.  I am thankful that he was having fun when the Lord took him home.  My heart goes out to his family, especially Duane.  Duane, I would love to hear from you (208)704-8812.  Some of my favorite memories are swimming, driving in the forest, and his amazing ability to drive a stick-shift truck.  He would make me laugh when he spoiled his cat, pretending that the cat was a pain.  He was good with plants, and saved a few plants that were dying under my care.  I feel blessed that he was a significant part of my life.  I will carry his love with me forever.

Sorry to learn about the death of Scott Sorenson.  This must have been a difficult time for all.  Therefore, I am forwarding scripture to comfort you.  Psalms 90:10 says that the usual human life span is 70 or 80 years.  This was true when Moses wrote it but not so from the beginning.  (compare Genesis 5:3-32.)  Hebrews 9:27 says...It is reserved for men to die once for all time.  This, too, was true when it was written but not the case before God passed judgment on sinful Adam.
