Alan "Dog" Palmer

On Good Friday, April 19, 2019 Alan Jeffrey Palmer, surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren departed from this earth into the arms of Jesus. Leaving behind his wife, Lynda, four children and their spouses, John and Yoene Palmer, Anne and Chad Carter, Reed and Amy Palmer, Diana and Mike LeFave. His ten very loved grandchildren, Phillip, Luke, Joe, Rachel, Randi, Ty, Dakota, Kade, Ryleigh, Taylor, his first expected great-grandson who will carry his name Dean Alan Carter and his siblings John, Janis, Vicki and Debbie.

Alan loved hunting, fishing and camping, four wheeling, trips to Hawaii, apple fritters, practical jokes, making people laugh and spending time with family. Despite his lot in life, he would set aside his pain and suffering to enjoy each visit with his children and grandchildren. Comfort his family and pray for you through any hardship you may be facing. He carried the strength of 1,000 men and the heart of a blue whale.

Alan’s true joy in life was his love of Christ and family.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of North Idaho or the Arthritis Foundation.
