Audrey Louise Grove-Siegel

Audrey Louise Grove-Siegel, 82, passed away on January 25, 2024, after her seven years living with dementia.

She was born in Livermore, California to Herman and Mary Simpson.

She married Richard J. Grove in Alameda, California at the Navy base where he was stationed and actively serving in the Navy. They fell in love, had two children, Dawna and Rick. After 38 years together Rich passed away. Their passions were traveling, Old Cars, water skiing, and with the last adventure, being owner/operators of the Bayview Mercantile where they were active in their community.

Audrey left Bayview and started her new chapter. She met and married Terry Siegel, and they had several things in common, travel being their first love. Terry preceded her in death in 2006.

Audrey had a green thumb and loved spending time in her gardens. She enjoyed feeding and watching her “hummingbirds” and let you know what she thought if you happen to have more hummingbirds than her. She kept all birds and squirrels fed and went so far as to name the regulars.

Audrey is survived by her daughter Dawna Grove; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Kelly Grove; son and daughter-in-law Blazo and Alice Mitasev and family.

Audrey is also survived by her grandchildren:  Amber Barnett, Gary Barnett, Lindsay Tucker, Brook and Kyle Wilder, Levi and Britany Lenz, Chase and Carly Grove, and Mason Grove.  She was also blessed with 15 Great grandchildren.

Audrey was blessed to be able to spend her last few days surrounded by all those who loved her.

Private family services will be held at a later date.   Final resting place will be at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.
