Barbara Adeline Conrad

Barbara Adeline Conrad, age 85, of Post Falls, Idaho passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 19, 2026.

Barbara was born on April 14, 1941 in Enterprise, Oregon to Jay and Adeline Basim. She was one of three children, with two brothers - Norman and Leroy. Barbara spent her childhood in Imnaha and Joseph, Oregon. In 1958 in Joseph, Oregon she met the love of her life, Richard (Dick) Conrad and they later married on May 31, 1959. After their wedding Dick and Barbara moved to Spokane, WA where they began their family. Richard and Barb had three children, Sandra (Conrad) Briese, Douglas Conrad and Teresa (Conrad) Stevens. The couple raised their children on farms in Newman Lake, WA and Stateline, ID.

Barbara was a proud member of both the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Coeur d'Alene Saddle-ites horse riding drill team. After Dick retired, he and Barbara moved up to their cabin on the north fork of the Coeur d'Alene River in Prichard, ID where they enjoyed many happy years in retirement going ATV riding, hunting, woodcutting and snowbirding to Arizona.

Barbara is survived by her children Sandy (Conrad) Briese, Doug Conrad and Teresa (Conrad) Stevens. She is also survived by her foster daughter Tina Kuisti, seven grandchildren Krysta Briese Daigle, Derek Briese, Jake Briese, Shasta Conrad Pickens, Shade Conrad, Riki Moreland, Cody Moreland and nine great-grandchildren.
