Barbara Jean Forgacs

April 28, 1944 — August 4, 2022

Barbara Jean Forgacs

It is with great sadness that on August 4th, 2022 Barbara Jean Forgacs passed away in the privacy of her home. It is with Joy we know she entered the gates of heaven in this moment. On this day we lost a beautiful woman who impacted so many lives. During this difficult time let us all reflect on what drew us so near to her as she had many extraordinary attributes. One of her greatest being that she was fiercely loyal to those she loved.

Barb was born on April 28th, 1944 in Riverside, California. She had one sister and one son, Bill who she loved.

Barb enjoyed spending time with those she loved. She loved a houseful for Sunday dinners. She also enjoyed camping, sand dunning and she tolerated fishing. She was always up for an adventure when her body was able and she loved to laugh. In her last weeks she caused many laughs while rolling her eyes on the conversations occurring as it became difficult for her to speak. She was precious and present until the end.

Those left to celebrate her life include her devoted husband George, of 47 years. Many bonus children, that she called her real ones and her faithful caregiver Beth, that she had a special bond with.

Her celebration of life will be Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at 2:30 at the Rathdrum City Park located at 15456 N. Latah St. in Rathdrum, ID. We will meet by stream she loved!
