Betty Hitchcock

Betty Rose Hitchcock, 90, passed away on Sept. 21, 2021, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Betty was born on Feb. 8, 1931, in Coeur d'Alene Idaho, to Paul and Bessy Braden. She was raised in Coeur d'Alene with her brother, Bob, and lived in Coeur d'Alene her whole life.

When Betty was younger she worked in various cafes in town; however, her true passion was being a loving housewife when she married the love of her life Vernon Hitchock on June 28, 1962. They had two sons, Clifford and Mike Hitchcock.

She was a Christian woman who loved to knit, crochet and needlepoint. She made beautiful pieces she shared with family and friends that they can treasure for years to come. She loved to travel, fish, and go camping in their camper, making memories with many family and friends. She met many new friends with her love of gambling. She was a loving grandmother and a good friend to many. She made wonderful family traditions that her loved ones will carry on. She was known to always have a smile on her face.

Betty is survived by son Clifford Hitchock, granddaughters Christy (Ken) Synder and Mandy (James) Enloe, great-grandchildren Hailey and Camryn Woodman and Miranda Enloe; nephews Bill Braden, Bruce Storla and John and Jim Hitchcock; nieces Sandy and Barbara Braden, Jenny Hitchcock, Jennifer and Rosie, best friend Josh McCain, cousins Richard and Rod Hazelton and Roger Sherman and many more family members and friends.
