Bonita Anne Thomas

Bonita Anne (Delyea) Thomas age 82, passed away peacefully with family at her side, on December 29, 2025, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Richland, Washington.

Bonita (Bonnie) was born March 7, 1943 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The oldest of five children, to James S Delyea and Roxie A (Lewis) Delyea.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents James and Roxie Delyea, her ex-husband William A Thomas Jr. father of her four children and by her long time partner Gerald Justice.

She is survived by her siblings James (Jimmy) Delyea, Cheryl Smyth, Jolene Baldwin, Kathy Chambers and half-sister Marti Wheaton.

Her sons Billy Thomas and Bob Thomas daughters Laura Norris and Christina Beckstrom and stepmother to Cheryl , Ron, Allen, Joleen and Carly.

And several grand and great grandchildren.

She spent most of her married life in Dayton Washington raising her family on the farm and working seasonal work as CNA for the cannery.

The next chapter of her life took her to Coeur d’Alene Idaho. Where she worked as a CNA until retirement.

Her sense of humor, infectious smile and a style all her own was one of a kind. She never met a thrift store or yard sale she didn’t like. Always looking for the next pretty thing that caught her eye. She loved the bling. She was our biggest fan and greatest supporter Visits from her children and grandchildren were her favorite. It’s difficult to put a lifetime lived into a few words.

Rest in peace our much loved mom, grandma and sister.

Graveside services will be held at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Coeur d'Alene, ID.
