Carol Aresvik

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce Carol Rae Aresvik, 70, passed away April 13,2020. Carol was born on September 28, 1949 in Bismarck North Dakota. Growing up it was her, her mom and dad, and her older brother Gary White. After moving often with their parents due to her fathers job, Consolidated Freightways, they moved to Post Falls Idaho as teenagers. Carol graduated from Post Falls high school in 1967. Then completed cosmetology school.  Soon after carol and Randy met, while cruising Sherman Avenue. April 12,1969 Carol married Randy Aresvik. Randy and Carol raised their three children Dawn ,Steve and Chad during which she had time to open an in house salon, Fix it beauty shop. It was very successful, and she started to grow out of the house with clientele. She soon opened Carol’s Clip n’ Curl on government way in 1987. Her weekly ladies couldn’t help feeling as family as they had been going to her now for over the 33 years.

Carol’s legacy was expanded as her daughter Dawn and granddaughter Rashell worked side by side in a three generation atmosphere for all to enjoy. Carol was strong, independent and a bit of a sassy woman. When she entered a room it would light up. Her smile and personality were contagious, and she never met a stranger. Her life was unconditional. She had the biggest heart. She will be remembered and deeply missed by so many. Carol loved her family, water falls in her back yard, bbq’s, birthdays, and family get-aways to seaside ocean, she spoiled us. She is survived by husband Randy, children Dawn, son in law Bill, Steve, Chad, and daughter in law Dawn Marie. Also by her grandchildren Rashell, husband Jake, Dylan, Alyssa, Cadence, Corbyn, and great grandchild Ava. She was preceded in death by her mother Clara White and father Leonard White. A family gathering will be held at a later time to celebrate carols life due to covid -19 virus.
