CAROL ELAINE CARKUFF
It is with a heavy heart that we let friends and family know about the passing of our mother Carol Carkuff. She was born Carol Elaine Shields on Nov. 4, 1945 and passed on Dec. 15th at the age of 74. She is proceeded in death by her son (Bradley DeVall), parents (Xariffa & Eldon Shields), brother (Gary Shields), sister (Vickey Shields), grandson (Kelly Carkuff) and husband (Murray Carkuff). She is survived by 2 brothers, 6 children, numerous grandkids and great grandchildren.
Mom had a good heart and would do anything for you. She rarely met anyone who did not like her. She loved to knit, sew, and play games. Family was very important to her. If you sat down and talked with her for any length of time you would know all about everyone in her family. She had many adventures during her life and loved telling her story’s.
Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers, and continued overwhelming kindness. We are truly blessed and loved. Also, thank you for your patience in waiting for more information.
KHQ had the accident on their website only they had some information incorrect. Mom was killed on impact. She had time for one quick thought before the Angel grabbed her hand and lead her home. She will be missed by all.
