The Lord made ready a place for Caroline and took her home to be with Him, March 16th 2022.  As a family of faith, we have peace and joy knowing without a doubt, she is with our Lord and Savior, rejoicing in Heaven.

Caroline was born on the 4th of July, in San Francisco CA., to William and Dorothy Hawley and she always considered herself a “Firecracker”!  Caroline had 3 Daughters; Linda Linderman and Patti Dvorak of California and Mary Willeford of Idaho. “I really love my relationship with my adult children she would say…it’s wonderful to have daughters as friends”. Along with 3 daughters, she had a Son-Law; Rod Willeford, Grandchildren: Kelly, Chris, EJ, Brandy, Heather, Sean and Aaron. In addition she has Great Grandchildren, Michael, Eddie, Charlea, Ethan, Kyle, Rocky, Nicholas, Jack, Ruby and Violet. To them, she was called Nana.

She had a large family, but she didn’t travel much. She enjoyed her Church family and loved to read her books, especially Bibles.  She collected Bibles, every size, color and version to give away. “You never know when someone might need a Bible” she would say. On Sundays after church, you could always find her in her favorite thrift store searching for bibles and of course purses. Caroline spent many years teaching Bible studies and sharing about the Lord.

Fall was her favorite time of year. She loved trees…she used to say…”sit me under a tree with a good book and I’m happy”. Along with her love of Bibles, books and trees, she loved puzzles. Starting in Fall, there was always a puzzle on the table and a big pot of homemade soup on the stove. If it wasn’t a puzzle it would be Gin-Rummy or Yahtzee and always with fresh Coffee.

Finding gifts for her was easy…Red Roses, Emeraude Cologne, or Red lipstick…we all called it Mom Red!

There is not enough room or time to tell you what a wonderful person and believer in Christ she was. For those of us who knew her, we are better people for it.

Please join us…at her Celebration of Life.
