Charlotte Anne Creighton

Charlotte Anne Creighton entered peacefully into the joyful presence of Our Lord on July 22, 2026, at the age of 65. Charlotte was born to Ernest and Juanita Poling on July 10, 1961, in Glendora, California. A loving sister to her brothers, David and Tony, she cherished caring for the children in her community.

Charlotte met her husband, Jim ( James C. ) Creighton, and they married on April 7, 1979, in Glendora, California. Together, they went on to have 5 children by birth and adopt 10. They made their home in Romoland, California, where she worked alongside her husband building a 2.5-acre ranch. Just as she carefully nurtured her organic gardens and animals, Charlotte spent her life masterfully tending to the hearts of those around her, cultivating a home where love, faith, and family could deeply take root.

In addition to being devoted to her large family, Charlotte had a special strength and love for hospitality, teaching children, serving in countless volunteer roles in her church and homeschool community. She studied as a master herbalist, understanding how to bring healing and growth to both plants and people. Throughout her life, she held a quiet faith in God, echoing the words of her Savior, “Let the little children come to me,” Later, she and Jim moved to Worley, Idaho, where her earthly labor ended. Now, she rests peacefully in the eternal garden of her Heavenly Father.

Charlotte now joins her parents, Juanita and Ernest Poling; her son, PFC Alexander E. Creighton; and her grandson, Deaglan Ottis.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; her brothers, David and Tony; her children: Tim, Courtney, Brandy, Audrey, Amanda, Josh, Logan, Nathan, Jeremy, Crystal, Zachary, Anthony, Ezra, Landon, and 30 grandchildren.

While we grieve her passing, we find solace in the hope of Christ’s resurrection and the assurance that we will one day be reunited in God’s eternal kingdom.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

A celebration of her life will be held at Faith Walk Community Prayer Garden on August 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM, where we will gather to honor her memory and rejoice in the promise of everlasting life.
