Christina Lambert

Christina Louise Enbom Scott Lambert was born April 17, 1931 in Wallace, Idaho to Elof and Gertrude (Champagne) Enbom. She passed away December 19, 2023 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

She married John W Scott in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on January 12, 1951. After John’s death in 1983, she married Vance Lambert in 1988. Vance passed away in 1996.

She was active in Camp Fire Girls and Cub Scouts with her children’s groups. When the children were older she started working for the Post Office in Osburn part time. She went full-time in 1968 and retired in 1989. She was the organist for the United Church of Christ, Congregational in Wallace for over 20 years. She would also play for weddings and events at other venues.

Christina and John enjoyed riding through the forests, sometimes on Honda Trail 90 motorcycles but more often in the car with the kids along. Picking huckleberries was a tradition every year.  Christina loved music, gardening, jigsaw puzzles and researching her family’s genealogy.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter Martha Doty and grandson David Doty.

She is survived by her children, Janet (Charles) DeVore, Jeff Scott, Mark Scott and Jodie (Kevin) Krieg; step-children Serena Lambert and Bruce Lambert and their families. She is also survived by her sister Siri Peterson; son-in-law Tim Doty, 5 grandchildren (and spouses), 13 great-grandchildren and two nieces, a nephew, and numerous loving cousins.

A memorial service for Christina, Martha and David will be held next summer with details to be announced later.
