In loving Memory

Daniel Michael Carter “POPS”, 72, was born in Turlock, California January 14, 1949 and passed away at his home in Hauser, Idaho November 08, 2021 due to complications from C.O.P.D., he was surrounded by family and friends. Daniel and his wife Barbara moved from Turlock, California to North Idaho in 1993 where they resided still at the time of his death.

Daniel was a Loving husband, dad, papa, great papa, brother, son and friend. Daniel was an Army veteran. Daniel loved the outdoors, working in his shop, Mud racing, hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Daniel was admired and loved by his many friends and family.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Shirley and James “Jim” Carter, his sister Candace and son Daniel Carter Jr.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 42 years Barbara Carter, Daughter Melody Carter, Son Donnie Stinson Jr. (Wendy Stinson), Son Tim Stinson Sr. (Brandy Stinson) as well as two sons that reside in Canada. Grandchildren Donald III, Tim Jr. (Becca), Paige (Kevin), Acacia, Michael, Sabrina, Brianna, Elle, Felicity, Dallis and Khloe. Great grandchildren Lillian, Daniel, Sebastion, Addison and Elsie.

Daniel is also survived by two brothers Ken Carter of Grass Valley, CA and Jim Carter Jr. of Carson City NV. And many family friends that he considered his kids and grandkids and numerous other extended family members.

The family would like to thank Advanced Home Care and Hospice of Northern Idaho for granting Daniels wish to be able to die at home with dignity and to be able to be surrounded by his loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Nov.  28, 2021, at 12:30 P.M at the Rathdrum Lions Club, 16114 N. Meyer Rd. Rathdrum, Idaho
