David P. Shriver

David Paul Shriver passed away peacefully from this world in Coeur d’ Alene on March 20, 2024, surrounded by loving family. Dave was born at St. Valentine Hospital in Wendell, Idaho on February 17, 1946, to parents Mary Marjorie Fuller and Paul Shriver. He graduated from Buhl High School in 1964 and from Idaho State University in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He resided in Spokane for 50 years. Dave served his community as a CPA for 55 years. Dave was one of nine siblings, father to Kevin and Erin Shriver, father-in-law to Monica Shriver, grandfather to Brooke Ford, Noah Spain, Ryland Shriver, Sydney Shriver, and great grandfather to Theodore Mude Prows. 
Dave is also survived by two sisters, Kay Shriver of La Crosse, Wisconsin and Rita (Tim) Abbott of Kimberly, Idaho; two brothers, Richard Shriver of Boise, Idaho and Owen Shriver (Claudette) of Buhl, Idaho; sister-in-law Rae Lene Shriver of West Jordan, Utah and brother-in-law Brad Bishop of Buhl, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marjorie Shriver; brother Tom Shriver; sisters; Betty Shriver, Linda Skeen and Sharon Bishop.
Dave’s fondest charitable contribution and accomplishment was the 26 years he devoted as chairman of the board at Numerica Credit Union. In his free time, you could often find Dave watching college football, having coffee with friends, or traveling to visit friends and family. He leaves behind an abundance of friends and memories of his generosity, loving heart, devotion to family, contagious laugh and sense of humor.
A celebration of life will be held on June 15, 2024 at 3pm at the Centennial Hotel, Skyline Ballroom, 303 West North River Drive Spokane, WA .
