Dolores Lawless

Dolores Virginia (Day) Lawless passed away on January 16, 2021, in Liberty Lake, Washington at the age of 90.  She was born on September 27, 1930, in Denver, Colorado.  Throughout her life, she enjoyed golfing, traveling, playing the piano, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was an avid baseball fan her entire life and enjoyed watching games or tuning in on the radio.

Dolores (Dee) met her husband, Robert (Bob) Lawless in Denver, Colorado and they were married on November 19, 1955.  They had four sons, the oldest of which passed away at a young age. Their children kept them very busy and Dolores had many stories of the shenanigans the boys would participate in.   Bob and Dolores moved to Hayden, Idaho in 1983 upon retirement.  They enjoyed 55 happy years together until Bob’s death on October 2, 2007.

Dolores lived at the family home in Hayden until 2016 when she moved to Guardian Angel Homes in Liberty Lake.  She was well liked and everyone enjoyed how beautifully she played the piano.

Dolores was proceeded in death by her husband, Bob, and two sons, Mark and Daniel.  She is survived by sons David (Denise) - Otis Orchards, WA, and Richard (Elizabeth Lawless) - Bellevue, WA., Daughter-in-Law, Cindy - Spokane, WA., her grandchildren, Mitchell (Tanya), Nicole Pring (Jackson), Garrett (June), Zachary and Victoria, and one great grandchild, Grant.  She is also survived by her sister, Diana DeAndrea - Arvada, CO.

A celebration of Dolores’ life will be held this coming summer.
