Edna Rocelia Loesch

Our sweet EDNA ROCELIA LOESCH, 79, of HAYDEN, IDAHO passed away into Heaven on DECEMBER 1, 2025 IN COEUR D ALENE, IDAHO.

Edna was born on February 10, 1946 in McDonough, Georgia, where she grew up with her three brothers and two sisters in West Virginia and Georgia. She met and got married to Jim Loesch in California, and had three children, two sons and a daughter. Her husband Jim served in the United States Coast Guard, so they moved often. 

Edna enjoyed living in and raising her children in New York, California and Alaska. After her divorce she lived in Alaska, Georgia, Texas and Idaho. She served as a public-school cafeteria worker and supervisor for several years in Alaska and Georgia. Her friends, neighbors, coworkers, and everyone who met her told us that she was such a sweet lady. 

She was a woman of strong faith and we know she is now home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Though she struggled with several health issues the past few years she never let it stop her from getting together with family as often as she could. 

Edna was preceded in passing by her parents Selma and Nell Holloway and her brother Bob. Edna leaves behind two sisters and two brothers, her three children Todd 59, Trina 57 and Jimmy 50, also three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

We miss you already mom, but we know you are in heaven and we will see you again. We are planning a Celebration of Life ceremony for family friends and neighbors in the Spring.
