Emily "Jane" Bland

Emily Jane Goehring Bland, 95, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Schneidmiller House in Couer D’Alene, Idaho.  Born in Cambridge Massachusetts to Reverend Norman Dambach Goehring and Emily Jane Boggess she is predeceased by both parents and her brother Robert.

Jane graduated from Monticello College in Alton, Illinois and the School of Occupational Therapy of Tufts University in Boston and spent her professional life as an Occupational Therapist. She married Frank Bucha Martin, Jr. and together they had three children. They later divorced and Jane remarried William Hoops and Frank Bland. Jane is survived by her three children, their spouses and several grandchildren.

Jane had an avid love for the outdoors and nature in general.  Her lifelong love was for all animals, both wild and domestic with her soft spot being the love of her dogs.  In light of this and in lieu of any flowers Jane would appreciate a donation to the Humane Society of your choice.

In this day of Covid-19 there are no calling hours or funeral services planned.
