Eric Fisher

Eric was born in San Diego, CA on July 13,1982. He lost his struggle with alcohol addiction on May 27,
2020. Eric had been doing great recently and was working on many home projects. He did not mean to
leave us so soon.
Eric was a big nerd who loved math, science, and playing with electricity. Eric loved to laugh, smile,
learn, crack jokes, and make other people laugh and smile. He was all about fun. With talent as a gear
head and a stereo head he always tricked out his vehicles to have a ridiculous amount of bass. Tinkering
with vehicles was basically playing with adult legos for him. He enjoyed teaching others at work and
helping people with the skills he learned over the years. Eric was a big softy on the inside. He adored his
Kitty.
Eric's passions in his younger years were participating in the legal drag races at Qualcomm Stadium
and riding his sand toys with friends in the desert. Once he moved to Idaho he discovered how much fun
fishing and shooting were. Fishing near Moscow caught him the biggest steelhead of his life. And
blasting old appliances with tannerite was such a rush!
Eric was a highly gifted machinist, a talent inherited from his grandfather. He loved machining and
programming parts (as long as the specs were reasonable). He challenged his superiors at ATC to bring
on the more complicated jobs. He had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and was never afraid to
learn. He thoroughly enjoyed picking his mentor's brain at work to learn everything he could about the
CMM.
Eric is survived by his parents Kenneth Fisher and Rebecca Fisher; sister Natalie (Brandon) Augustyn, and
niece Arabella Augustyn, as well as many aunts and uncles. We will miss him so, so much.
Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 the family has chosen to do an online only obituary. In
