Grandchildren Justin Fruechtl, Natasha Richards, Kala & husband Josh Cordell and Jonathan Albertson.  Great Grandchildren are Terrell & wife Autumn Fruechtl , Cheyenne Richards, Josiah Richards and Titus Cordell.  Great Great Grandchild to arrive in December 2020.   Brothers Stan Flegel, Ed & wife Carol Flegel and sister Delma & husband Bob Knapp. Sisters-in-law Joyce & Gary Kammeyer, Jodee Scott and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eugene was drafted into the Army as a Pole Lineman in which he worked his way up to a Corporal.  Returning to Coeur d’Alene from serving in the Korean War he married his wife Diane.  He then started work at Potlatch Corporation in which he earned his way up to Head Rig Sawyer.  After 41 years he then retired to enjoy his life & family.  He enjoyed fishing on the coast, camping and most of all building model wooden trucks and cars from scratch with his brother Stan.  They loved to get together to design and build each model; sometimes each built one separately.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Schneidmiller Hospice House for all the help and attention they provided for our father and husband while he was there.

He will be greatly missed by us all.
