Frances Ann Palmer

Our loving mother Frances (Fran) Palmer left to be with our Lord on 19 February 2023. Fran was born October 26, 1932 to James and Raymonde Barry in Seattle, Washington.

She enjoyed a full life with her husband of 63 years, Richard Palmer. Fran was actively involved with many organizations throughout the years. The Elks, Ladies of the Shrine, the Red Hat Society to name just a few. Professionally she entertained with USO in her younger years as a dancer. In 1966 Richard, and Fran, moved from Coeur d' Alene to Alaska with their two sons, Michael and John where they raised their children. Fran pursued a career in banking where she ultimately became the first woman Senior Vice President in Alaska History ultimately retiring and moving back to Coeur d' Alene.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband Richard and is survived by her sons Michael J. Palmer of Las Vegas, and John W. Palmer of Coeur d' Alene, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Fran is lovely remembered by her surviving family and friends as a dedicated friend, and mother. She loved people and loved to entertain friends and family. Although she is absent from us and present with the Lord she will always remain in our hearts through the many memories we have shared together.
