Helen Irene Dieziger
June 23, 1936 — May 4, 2023
Helen passed away on May 4, 2023, at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Hayden, ID. She was born June 23, 1936, to Fred and Mabel Danquist in Spokane, WA. Helen grew up in Spokane. She married Ralph Dieziger on November 19, 1954. They welcomed four children: David, Linda, Donna, and Diana. They moved their young family to Post Falls in 1963.
Helen was a homemaker and worked for 20 years as an educational aide at Frederick Post Elementary. She had been married to Ralph for 50 years when he passed in 2004. Helen married Julius Haas on Oct. 8, 2005.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, and daughter Diana. She is survived by her husband, three children, three step-children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 13th at 1:00 PM at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls. In lieu of flowers, Helen requested donations be made to the Post Falls Food Bank.
