Helen Lillian (Hammeren) Ward

Helen was born April 3, 1933 to Peter and Mrytle Hammeren in Priest River, ID. She left us on September 25, 2024 to be with our Lord and the love of her life Arthur Lee Ward. She had two sisters, Deloris Elvira Dodson and Charlotte Mae Bader. She is survived by her best friend and Daughter Rebecca Ann Ward. She was a beloved patriarch of the family. Her love was never unequally shared, she praised each family member with unbiased love.

She was a professional cook for 18 years after the death of her husband of 16 years.

She is survived by three daughters Wilma Marlene Billingsley of Columbus, OH (Deceased), Rebecca Ann Ward at the home and Verna Irene Mitzimberg of Daytona Beach, FL (Deceased); Six grandchildren Gerald Lee Ward (Deceased), Glenn Alan Coulston, Brenda Lee Robertson, Janet Rose Billingsley (Deceased), Lillian Mae Cotriss, and Jeanne Lynn Coulston; six great grandchildren and Thirteen great great grandchildren. She is also survived by two nieces, Diana Dodson Jones and Kitty Haughtwout and a nephew Mikkle Babder.

Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday October 2, 2024, at the Forest Cemetery, 1011 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene, ID. The family will be celebrating her life at the Cathay Inn in Spokane, WA, all are welcome.
