Ida Joan Evans

Ida "Joan" Evans, a loving mother born in Coppock, IA to Richard and Ida McKune, passed away on June 30, 2024 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard and 11 siblings. She will be deeply missed by her family ,10 grandchildren ,2 great grandchildren. numerous nieces, nephews. and many who have felt adopted into the family. She was a prayer warrior and Her 1st love was her relationship with Jesus Christ who she leaned on all of her life.

She touched the lives of countless children, having babysat up to 12 at a time. Her selflessness and warmth was felt by all who knew her. Joan successfully ran her husband's masonry business as well as owned and operated convenience store in Otis Orchards, WA. A celebration of life will be held to honor Joans remarkable life at Heart of the City Church 772 W. Kathleen Ave. Coeur d’Alene, Id on July 27th at 10:00 am. Arrangements by English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls.
