Idell Lou Jenicek

Idell Milne Jenicek passed away with her loving husband by her side on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. She was born in Spokane, WA on September 8, 1939 to Floyd and Dulcie Milne. Idell grew up in the Spokane Valley and graduated from Central Valley High School. On a blind date at square dance lessons, she met her future husband, Darrell. They were married two months later on December 12, 1959. Togeth
 
er they raised 3 children in Missoula, MT where they lived for 18 years. In 1979, they moved back to the Spokane Valley where Idell enjoyed golfing and bowling with her many friends. Upon retirement, Darrell and Idell settled in Post Falls and were able to take many trips abroad and throughout the United States. 
Idell was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Darrell, children:  Steve (Michelle), Julie (Scott) and Sherry (Rich), grandchildren:  Joe (Jenna), Ryan, Garrett and Megan, great grandchildren:  Evelyn and Emilia. 
As Mom would say:  “ I’m fine now!”
 
A memorial service will held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N Spokane. St. Post Falls, Idaho
