Irene Knauber

Irene was born in Pasadena, California, the third child of Eugene and Alicia Stavro.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard and her son, Kerry. Irene relocated to Post Falls, Idaho to join her family. She was active at the Post Falls Senior Center and there made many wonderful friends.

Irene was a golfer, dancer, and accomplished artist. She is survived by her son Robert and daughter-in-law Colleen of Post Falls, Idaho; her granddaughter, Julia Guinn of Spokane, Washington; and her granddaughter, Katherine McInturf, her husband, Scott and two sons, Harper and Emerson of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Irene died December 13, 2019, surrounded by her family. At Irene’s request, no services will be held.
