James passed away from heart failure on Aug. 24, 2021. He was born in Valley City, N.D., on Aug. 12, 1947, to Orrie and Loraine (Hallaway) Anundson. They moved to Post Falls, Idaho, in 1956, where he grew up with his sisters Cheryl and Doreen. He loved Post Falls and never ventured far from home.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, horseshoes and playing pool. He continued to hold strong relationships with so many wonderful friends.

In 1972 he met the love of his life, Carol Davenport, a Post Falls native. Together they had four children and enjoyed 45 years together. They had 10 grandchildren they loved deeply and a great-grandchild he grew very fond of.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carol (2018), his parents Orrie and Loraine Anundson, and his sister Cheryl Lewis. He is survived by his children and sister Doreen who will miss him deeply. No services at this time.
