Janice Cochran

Janice Ray Cochran, 80

Janice Ray Cochran was born January 5th, 1939, in Glasgow, Montana, to Everett and Ethel Way of Minnesota.

She is preceded in Death by her son, Duane Lewis Cochran. She is survived by her Daughter; Donna Erickson, her son; Darrell Cochran; her Sister, Karen Sheryak; her Grandsons Matthew and Mark Erickson; her Granddaughter-in-Law, Makayla; her Step Great Granddaughter, Penny and her Great Grandson William Wolfe Erickson.

Janice Graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in Tujunga, California. Out of High School, she worked on a ranch in North Hollywood where Actors were trained to ride horses. She married Gerald COCHRAN and they moved to San Jose.  She worked for Terminex Pest Control. In 1983, she moved to Post Falls. She spent a couple of winters with her Sister, in Florida.  She loved the Beach. She retired from School District 281 in Spokane.

In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and took it seriously. After moving to Idaho, she enjoyed camping and fishing. She spent as much time as she possibly could with her Grandsons. Once the boys were out of school and off doing their own thing, she became a Certified Clown. She loved it. She loved riding in Parades.

In January 2018, she was no longer able to take care of herself and became a resident of Life Care in Post Falls.  She loved playing Bingo. Her health degraded rapidly in the last few months and she was in excruciating pain. She is now pain free and spending an Eternity with Jesus. I envision her at a Seafood Buffet, Rocking with Elvis and Clowning Around.

There will not be a Memorial Service. There may be an information celebration of her life. If you would like additional information, you can contact her Daughter at derickso2004@aol.com.
