Janice Lynn Eatherton

After a brief illness, the Lord called our sister and wife to Heaven.  Janice Mason Eatherton was born December 28th, 1968 to Gerald and Clarice Mason.

 She was the youngest of six kids going to Waitsburg schools all 12 years.  A lover of all sports she played volleyball and basketball in school until her accident changed her whole life.  Still wanting to be part of the team Janice played trombone in the band for all the Waitsburg High School games and took pictures for the high school yearbook.  Janice enjoyed watching all of her nephews play high school sports, even if that meant rooting for both the Waitsburg Cardinals and the DeSales Irish.

 Janice graduated from Waitsburg High School in 1987 and went on to attend WWCC and EWU.  She accepted a job with the Spokane Community Colleges doing a variety of different jobs.  She enjoyed helping students and her coworkers.  Janice was also a thrifter and sold many treasures she found on ebay. Janice was also very active with the Kootenai County Animal Shelter.

In 2005 Janice met her wonderful husband Joe and they were married in 2005.  Janice was also the business manager of J & J Transport, Joe's trucking business.  Janice and Joe enjoyed camping and spending time together with family and pets, Brandie and Bandit, their loving cocker spaniels who truly miss Janice.  

Janice was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Clarice.  She will be missed by her husband Joe, her sisters and brothers Polla and Alan Laib, John and Terrie Mason, Gerald and Kathy Mason, Nancy and Greg Tompkins and Kathy Brown, she will also be missed by all of her nephew, nieces and Joe's family parents Joel and Mary Eatherton, sister Teresa.
