Jeannette Wraspir, loving mother and grandmother passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Jeannette is survived by her husband Gary Wraspir, Lacey, WA, daughter Kali Wraspir, grandson Joshua Mason, Lacey, WA, and Sister Kathy McKinney, Sacramento, CA. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia Wraspir, Brother Charles Dashiell and her parents Richard (Dick) and Helen Dashiell.

Jeannette was born in Spokane, WA, on September 13, 1944. She attended high school in Marlin, WA, and studied at Whitworth College until she married in October of 1963. Gary and Jeannette began their marriage in Othello, WA where their first child, Cynthia was born, then settled down in Coeur d’Alene, ID where their second child, Kali was born.

Jeannette owned and operated Stitches and Britches women’s clothing store for many years in Coeur d’Alene and was determined to pick out the perfect outfits for everyone who came into her store. As a wedding coordinator at the Coeur d’Alene resort, she worked tirelessly to make every wedding unique and special for each of her clients. She cared deeply for the people she helped and always had a smile to give. 

Upon retirement, she and Gary moved to Lacey, WA to be close to their daughter and grandson. Additionally, they spent their winters in Tucson, AZ, where she passed at Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, AZ.

There will be a celebration of life graveside for Jeanette at 11:00 AM Friday April 22, 2022, at the Odessa Cemetery in Odessa, WA. In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to make a memorial contribution to Casa de la Luz Hospice, 7740 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85704.
