Jeffrey Allan Taberner

Jeff Taberner, 63, of Rathdrum, ID, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved deeply. He was born in Toledo, OH, to Joseph and Shirley Taberner.

Jeff was a faithful Christian man who lived with integrity, generosity, and a deep love for people. He treated everyone like an old friend and made people feel at home. For 43 years, he was a devoted husband to his wife, Sherri, and a loving father to Candace and Joe. One of his greatest joys was being grandfather to his beloved “girls,” Maddison, Olivia, and Maeve.

Jeff spent more than 20 years working in aviation, where he was respected for his incredible work ethic, leadership, and dedication. He took great pride in his work and in creating opportunities for others.

More than anything, Jeff will be remembered for the way he loved — faithfully, wholeheartedly, and without hesitation.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 16, 2026, at Real Life Ministries Building 2, 1860 N. Cecil Rd., Post Falls, ID 83854. All are welcome.
