Joe (Jackie) Albert Wolf Jr.

Joe (Jackie) Albert Wolf Jr. was born in Wichita, KS, on July 14, 1938, to Joe Wolf Sr. and Ardatha Ward. When he was 18 years old, Joe joined the United States Marine Corps. He served 3 years of active duty, with his specialty title being, “Mortar Man”. He eventually worked his way up to Corporal. After moving from active duty to the reserves, Joe met the love of his life on Hollywood and Vine. He married Melary G. Darby on April 15, 1960. They remained married for 61 years, until his passing. In his younger years, Joe worked at his father’s business, called Wolf Sanitation Services. Over the years, he also worked at Canada Dry, Warner Brothers Studios, and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Later in life, he started up his own business, called Wolf Electronics Inc. He worked for many years as an industrial mechanic and machinist. He worked several other jobs over the years, but those were his favorites. While working at Warner Bros., Joe was in several films. Some of these include: “Wall of Noise”, “P.T. 109”, “Palm Springs Weekend”, “The Nutty Professor”, “Ocean’s Eleven”, “The Donna Reed Show”, and “Girls, Girls, Girls”. His roles varied from small speaking parts, to stuntman, to even being a stand-in for Elvis Presley. Joe was proceeded in death by his father, Joe Wolf Sr.; mother, Ardatha Ward; stepmother, June Stein; brother, Byron Wolf; and sisters, Peggy Lee Wolf and Margie Darlene. Joe accepted the Lord into his heart and confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was blessed with a large family, all of whom loved him very much. He is survived by his wife, Melary Wolf; brother, Sam Wolf (Carol); sisters, Charlene Ruffino (Sammy) and Joan Tull (Dean); son, Jon Wolf; daughter, Denise Shear; 8 grandchildren, Tyler Wolf, Krystle Mohr (Jackson), Trevor Wolf, Cara Bolt (Jeremy), Shayleigh Wolf, Tiffany Shear, Rebeckah Carl (Austin), and Dalton Wolf; 14 great-grandchildren, Haylie, Ariya, Tristan, Landon, Amelia, Lukas, Ezekiel, Sophia, Lucian, Tyson, Brooklyn, Evelyn, Cassian and Damian; nephews, Brad Tull, Sammy Wolf Jr. (Dana), Steven Wolf (Angie), Wayne Radcliff and A.G. Radcliff; nieces, Donna Radcliff, Nancy Frank and Mary Ann Gimple; great-nephew, Matthew; and great niece, Sydney. Joe lived a long and fulfilling life, full of meaning and cherished memories. He was truly one of a kind and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. His adorable sense of humor and adventurous personality will never be forgotten
