John N. Howard, 61
John N. Howard, 61, of Spirit Lake, Idaho, passed away Feb. 4, 2017, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. John was born in Santa Ana, Calif., on July 27, 1955, to Donald and Shirley Howard.
John came to Idaho in the early ’80s and worked for several years at Schweitzer Mountain. He also ran a large cattle ranch south of Sandpoint until he retired. John loved to go boating and camping.
John is survived by his son, Dakota Howard of Spirit Lake; his sister, Nancy Weatherly of Athol; his brothers, Thomas Howard of Athol and David Howard of Spirit Lake; and his mother, Shirley Howard of Athol. John is preceded in death by his father, Donald Howard.
