Jon Bucher

Jon Bucher passed away on December 27th. Jon was born April 11, 1962 to Leo and Patricia Bucher in Stockton, California. His family moved to North Idaho when he was a small child, and he grew up Dalton Gardens, Idaho. After graduating in 1981 from Coeur d’Alene High school, he went on to proudly served his country in the US Army and in The National Guard for over 30 years. He retired as a Sargeant First Class and was proud to be a veteran. When he wasn’t actively serving, he worked for the Kootenai County Solid Waste Department for 21 years. He leaves behind his children Jennifer, Shawn and Scott, as well as two brothers, eight grandchildren, and one niece. Jon was loved and well-liked by so many people. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, working on his car, and watching the 49ers play.
