Joni Marie Noesen, our loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, auntie and dear friend, passed away at Valley Hospital in Spokane, Wash., on Sunday, July 24, 2022, surrounded by the people she loved the most.
Joni was born Nov. 1, 1972, in Santa Monica, Calif., to her loving parents, Dorothy and John Plummer, and her adoring (already adult) siblings. She grew up in Santa Monica, where at the age of 15, she met the love of her life, Morgan. The two were inseparable, and eventually, Morgan moved in with her and her mother, Dorothy. They married on Aug. 26, 1995, and later welcomed their first daughter, Riley (1996). Soon after, they relocated to beautiful Post Falls, Idaho. Throughout the years, they welcomed four more children, Bradley (1999), Kaden (2002), Gavin (2008) and Emma (2009).
Joni loved all things outdoors, especially if it involved their travel trailer and the St. Joe River. The Noesens spent every weekend at the Joe, where everyone was welcome to come and spend some time in a chair in the river and soak up the sun. Joni loved to cook and loved to feed everyone. She spent many days feeding the high school boys before games and meets and loved cheering on her kids as they participated in their respective sports. Joni spent her whole life caring for others, ensuring everyone was cared for and well fed. She was completely selfless, willing to go the extra mile to ensure her loved ones knew she loved them.
She is survived by her husband, Morgan Noesen, her children, Riley (Tom) Broughton, Bradley (Rachel) Noesen, Kaden (Addison) Noesen, Gavin Noesen, and Emma Noesen, her sisters, Linda (Jesse) Roman, Brenda (Robb) Erickson, and Louanne Andrade, her nieces and nephews, Christy Johnson, Johnny (Jeana) Plummer, Kelly (Bryan) West, Jennifer Plummer, Josh Plummer, Tracy (Brett) Spencer, Jenalee Weber, Christopher Roman, and Melissa Andrade, as well as her great nieces and nephews, Lucas West, Ford and Cora Spencer, and Christian and Mia Roman. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Plummer, and her brothers, John W. Plummer, Randy Plummer and John Plummer Jr.
She touched many people's lives and was loved and adored by many. She will be missed dearly. Our hearts ache that you are gone, and we will hold your memory close to our hearts.
Her service will be held at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, Idaho, on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, our family asks that you donate to ALSSO or Matt's Place Foundation.
