Joyce Johnson Tieman, age 74, passed away peacefully in Coeur d’Alene Idaho, on November 5, 2025.
A longtime resident of Eagar, Arizona and then Priest River, Idaho, Joyce was loved by those who knew her.
Joyce is survived by her children, Jenny Sanders, Mindy Horne, T.J. Tieman; her stepchildren, Guy Tieman, Stacey Lee, and is preceded in death by her stepson Heath Tieman. She also leaves behind her sisters, Janice Power and Phyllis Kelton, her brothers Eddie Johnson and Clifford Johnson, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members and dear friends that will hold good memories close to their hearts.
Joyce was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as Primary President and multiple times as a counselor in the Relief Society. Her favorite place to serve was in the Young Women’s program, where she also served as president and counselor. She had a great impact on those she served, as well as being profoundly impacted by them.
Joyce loved music, playing the piano, tending her garden, decorating her home, and collecting beautiful antiques. She was known for her creativity, her humor, and her tireless hard work.
Memories of her laughter, generosity and service will forever be in the hearts of those who loved her.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 am, January 3, 2026, at the cemetery, West 3rd Street, Eagar, AZ.
