Kent was a great family man and a loving father. He married his first wife, Kathy in 1981 and the couple had one child together. The marriage later ended with divorce. He married Carmel in 2011, who he shared his last 12 years with.

Kent enjoyed vehicles of all types, new and old. His was always very clean and well maintained, which was a point of pride for him. He enjoyed car shows, whether they were online or in person. He was also a nature lover and especially liked to be near the water, whether a river, stream or the ocean. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.

Kent will always be remembered as a warm, caring person with an unforgettable eye roll and smile. He was deeply loved by many, and will be just as deeply missed.
