Kevin Charles Beare passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 68. He was born on August 24, 1957, to Kenneth and Florence Beare, and lived a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Kevin was a logger by trade, a profession he was deeply passionate about and proud of. Later in life, he continued his dedication to physically demanding work through construction and mining, carrying with him the same work ethic and determination that defined him throughout his life. He found purpose and fulfillment in honest labor and valued the connection to the land and the work he did. When he wasn’t working, Kevin could often be found fishing or camping, content beside the water or under open skies, enjoying the quiet moments and simple pleasures that brought him peace. He also enjoyed spending time on the golf course and had a lifelong love of reading, always appreciating a good book and the calm moments it provided.
He is survived by his daughter, Katie Walt, and his grandchildren, Kyra, Shon, and Ezmeralda Walt. He is also survived by his former wife, Lorie; his stepson, Dan Stephens; his brothers, Kenny, Kerry, Mike, and Mark; his sister, Brenda; and many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Kevin will be remembered for his strength, his dedication to his family, his love of the outdoors, and the steady presence he was to those who knew him. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the family he loved.
Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend to all
