Kevin “Bubba” Sorenson passed away Nov. 29, 2020, in Hayden, Idaho. Bubba was born Aug. 31, 1961, in Orange, Calif., to Ronald and Donna Sorenson. His family moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1968.
He is survived by his fiancé, Keri Mitchell; their children, Nik and Ashley Bjurstrom; and their granddaughters, Georgia and Louise Bjurstrom, all of Hayden; sisters, Teresa Sorenson of Hamilton, Mont., and Nancy (Don) MacDonald of Dalton Gardens, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Scott Sorenson and Craig Sorenson.
Bubba’s favorite pastime was watching NASCAR, camping up the Coeur d’Alene River and riding his “buggy” through the mountains.
Bubba has requested that there be no services. A celebration will be held at a later date.
