Born in July 1943, raised in Seattle, WA. Graduated from Roosevelt High School. Became a USO hostess. Met her husband (Kyle) in photography school. Linda married in September 1964. Had a daughter (Tina) in 1966 and a son (Shaun) in 1967. She became another mother to many. Through the years she worked as a waitress, telephone switchboard operator, real estate agent, legal secretary (could type 129 wpm, read upside down and backwards). In her off hours was a kid taxi. Linda bred pomeranians for a short time and also raised chickens and rabbits for food.

Linda loved cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, canning/dehydrating fruits, vegetables and meat, shirt painting, singing in the church choir, making cherry bonbons and peanut butter balls to sell at Christmas time. She loved to snowmobile.

Linda lived off grid for 14 years in a stack wood house that the family built. Became snowbirds for many years traveling from Washington to Arizona where they became vendors of rocks and jewelry. She ran the Quartzsite Christian Women’s Fellowship and volunteered time at Isaiah 58 Ministry Group that fed the those in need. Settled down in the Coeur d’Alene area in 2007 where she became a member of the Red Hat Ladies. She has 3 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.

Linda went home to be with Jesus on August 30, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by family. She is now dancing on heavens grounds while Dolly Parton is singing to the Lord. What a beautiful picture!!!

Kyle (husband): Linda was a trooper and adapted to any adventure we went on. She learned to hunt, butcher and live without electricity. Loved the Aurora Borealis and the clear stars at night. We were married for 63 years. I was blessed with a best friend and beautiful wife.

Tina (daughter): She taught me to use coupons and look for refunds. On a rare occasion we did so well that Duncan Hines paid us $6.00 after getting 9 boxes of cake mix for free. She loved to spring big words on us.

Shaun (son): I was in the kitchen and telling her how mad I was about something/someone that I couldn’t control, and she said to not let them control your emotions. That philosophy has stayed with me all these years.
